Behrad Soukhakian has a Bachelor in the field of world instrumental playing (classical violin). He graduated in 2007 from Faculty of Music at Tehran University of Applied Science and Technology. He received an associate degree and diploma in the same field from the Faculty of Music and Conservatory in 2003 and 2001.
During his music education, he has learned from masters such as; Professor Siavash Zahiraldini, Professor Marjan Ghanbari Mehr, Professor Setareh Beheshti, Professor Siavash Beizai, Professor Mohsen Elhamian, Professor Houshang Ostovar, Professor Keyvan Mirhadi, Professor Elahe Hamidi, Professor Taghi Zarabi, Professor Javid Majlisi, Professor Masoud Ebrahimi, Professor Morteza Delshab, Professor Taghi Zarabi, Professor Nader Afsharnia and Professor Nader Morteza Pour.
His main focuses are playing and teaching violin (classical), piano (classical), and teaching music theory and solfeggio.
Behrad Soukhakian has a teaching license from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, No. 15163001513168 to teach violin (classical) and started his educational activities in 2002 and has attended more than twenty music schools in Alborz and Tehran provinces. He teaches classical violin, classical piano, music theory, and solfeggio. He has also taught classical violin in the boys music conservatory from 2007 to 2010, and the academic year 2022 until now.
In addition to teaching classical violin, Behrad Soukhakian also plays this instrument and has participated in a large number of symphony and philharmonic orchestras and pop orchestras.
In 2004, he became a member of the Symphony Orchestra of the Radio and Television of Iran, as a first violinist, and in 2018 he was a member of the Iranian National Orchestra from 2017 to December 2022 as the first violinist.
In addition, Behrad Soukhakian is the master of the Bell String Ensemble since 1397.
In 2020, he published a "video collection of classical music theory training" and was able to publish this collection online in collaboration with "Institute for the Publication of Music of External Thoughts (Anshan)" and "Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance".
Behrad Soukhakian established the "Accent Virtual Music School" in 2020, in which to students are taught how to play instruments online. After gaining successful experience in managing the Aksan group, in 1403 (2024-2025), he established a music academy named 'Behrad Soukakian Music School.' In this academy, students have the opportunity to learn all Iranian and Western instruments, as well as music theory, either individually or in groups.
